Job Description:

Direct Report: Worship Director
Position Status: Full Time
*Healthcare Available with Position

Administrative Responsibilities

• Attend weekly worship planning meetings
• Attend Bi-weekly Director meetings
• Oversee Production Budget
  • Oversee reorder of production materials

Creative Responsibilities

• Publish weekly video publication
  • Edit and publish the weekly video for 5pm service
  • Upload videos weekly to DropBox
  • Edit and publish the weekly video to YouTube
• Input weekly information into ProPresenter
  • Select graphics / video loops for each song
  • Ensure all announcement slides are correct
  • Ensure all pre/ post roll videos are up-to-date
• Oversee Propresenter, Live Video, Producer and Lighting for all worship services and special events
  • Program lighting for weekly praise and worship setlists and other aspects of the worship service, Gather Round, Sisterhood events (upon request), worship nights, and any other special event at the request of the Worship Director or Lead Pastor
  • Automate light show in Ableton (if needed)
• Muti-Campus Support
  • Oversee production teams of both West Blvd. and Independence Campuses
• Attend all worship rehearsals
  • Support worship team rehearsals with pro presenter, lighting, producer, live video
  • Utilize rehearsals as a training opportunity to develop teams
• Oversee Video/Lighting/ProPresenter equipment
  • Oversee ordering process
  • Collaborate with team leads to establish strategy for equipment maintenance and necessary upgrades
  • Implement and maintain a detailed inventory of all video/lighting/pro presenter equipment/ fixtures/software / hardware
• Recruit & Onboard production volunteers
  • Ensure the assimilation process is simple, efficient and effective for those joining the production team.
  • Ensure new volunteers receive proper training
  • Lead with a multiplication mindset
    • Grow the team spiritually, numerically, and practically
• Oversee PCO Schedule: Producer/Audio/Propresenter/Lighting/Live video
  • Ensure the schedule on PCO Services stays minimum 4 weeks ahead
  • Set expectations of call times, preparedness, excellence, etc…
• Establish culture of worship at Vizion Church
  • Encourage team members to attend church when not scheduled.
  • Encourage team to be engaged and connected to the church
  • Encourage team members to be professional in dress and appearance
  • Work with Lead Pastor / church leadership on special events.
• Large scale production event planning + execution
  • Oversee planning and execution of Easter, Crusades and special events
  • Assist Lead Pastor and Worship Director with special projects upon request
• Other Duties as assigned

Sunday Responsibilities

• Serve as, or schedule a Production Director
  • Support Worship Director and Music Director with soundcheck
  • Ensure service flow is communicated and executed with excellence
  • Oversee video, lighting, and ProPresenter
  • Serve as direct report for Production Team Leads
• Develop Team Members
  • Look for opportunities to develop team members into leaders

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ProPresenter and the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Expert knowledge of Chroma Q Vista Lighting Software/Console and ability to troubleshoot software/hardware issues
• Expert knowledge of Black Magic Video hardware & software/console and ability to troubleshoot software/hardware issues
• Expert knowledge of Resi streaming software with multi-campus support
• General knowledge of Planning Center Online
• General Networking knowledge to support IT networks across multiple campuses
• General knowledge of Ableton Live 11

*Sunday – 6:30AM – 2PM/3PM-7PM (All Services)
Monday – 1PM – 8:30PM
Tuesday – 9AM – 5PM
Wednesday – 9AM – 5PM
Thursday – 1PM – 9PM (Required Rehearsal Attendance)
Friday – OFF
Saturday – OFF
