Jesus in the Streets – Vizion Outreach

We would like to invite everyone who has a heart for people, and a desire to impact lives with the love of Jesus, to join us for the outreach we call,   “Jesus in the streets”. Our aim and aspiration is to have people in the neighborhoods throughout Charlotte hear the gospel and encounter God’s presence. At our events we want them to experience firsthand God’s love, joy, peace, and power through His people. At Vizion we believe the church is called to bring Jesus to the streets, to reach those who may never come to know him unless we go to them. We will be having a neighborhood get together for our neighbors in Cambridge Park Neighborhood. The activities will include food, bouncy slide, sports, games, arts and crafts and a presentation of the gospel. We need volunteers to facilitate all activities.

Join us for our monthly Young Adults Gather Round. We meet on the first Friday’s of every month, and doors open at 6:30PM. Gather Round is an immersive and intimate worship experience for young adults, ages 18-30. This includes floor level worship, a message, intercession, and fellowship with some of the most welcoming people you will meet. If you are new to Charlotte and are looking for community or have lived here your whole life, and want to connect and build community with some likeminded young adults we would love to have you! Bring a friend with you; we can’t wait to see you on August 2nd!!

Join us on August 9th, from 6:30PM-8PM to learn about how you can be involved in Vizion Evangelism | City Outreach inspired by Romans 10:14-15, “how shall they hear unless we go”. We will be sharing our vision, mission, and the methods we will utilize to transform lives and communities for God’s glory.
Our outreach events include food, games, sports, crafts, music, and sharing the gospel. Our aim is to build authentic relationships that open the door for further discipleship and ministry. We believe our presence carries the love, power, and grace of Jesus and can establish His kingdom in the communities we serve.
We strongly encourage all current and prospective volunteers to attend. Discover how you can be part of bringing God’s Kingdom to our community.

Whether you are a new believer or you’ve been a Christian for a long time, School of Discipleship is a powerful resource to build your faith. We currently offer one course under School of Discipleship: Foundations. The Foundations course examines the 15 fundamental truths of Christianity. This course consists of 2, 3.5 hour sessions at Vizion Church: Saturday, August 10th and August 17th from 9AM – 12:30PM. You will be challenged, encouraged and leave more confident in your faith in Jesus Christ and the word of God.

**Cost is $25 and scholarships are available. Childcare is available at no cost

The first commandment given to every new believer is to be baptized. At Vizion Church we baptize believers by immersion. Baptism is the public declaration of the inward conversion. Baptism declares to the world that you are committed to following Jesus with your life and dying to your old nature, mindset and lifestyle.

• Baptisms will be held during our 9:30AM, and 11:00AM services at our Independence Campus
• All instructions for Baptism will be conveyed through a video which you will receive in a video. You will receive the video the week of Baptism.
• We provide a baptism t-shirt for all who get baptized.
• The baptism service will be streamed online via the Vizion Church Youtube channel.
